Eek! The Boo is amazing. He ordered me another Kindle yesterday. This one is so small and thin compared to the 2nd Gen one that I had. Can’t wait to get home and hooked up to Wi-Fi so I can get it set-up and loaded with my books; -)
I’m grinning from ear to ear.

I just added up how much I spent on downloading books this year…

…because last year I got a Kindle for Christmas.

The grand total? Over $250. That’s a LOT! I know that publishers hate Amazon, and I know that what they’re doing is basically immoral, but you know how much money I spent on books the year before? $0, because I got them all out from the library. So there’s that. This is why the ebook debate is so complicated.

Agreed! I spend so much money on books now that I download them to my Kindle instead of sharing galleys between my friends.

Interesting ad campaign from the Nook. I have to say that is a major drawback for some to the Kindle, but personally I hate reading for extended periods of time on a backlight device.

Who Reads More? - Traditional Book Readers vs. Ebook Readers (via GOOD.is)

Another lovely infographic.  I definitely fall into the category of a person who now purchases more books a year because ebooks are usually less expensive than the print, especially during price promotions.
