Ahhh! I’m so excited. I met the guy from Oscilloscope at a conference back in early March, and I really did assume that he forgot about me.
We got into a great conversation about Wuthering Heights. Mostly about my college thesis on it, but also how exciting it is to see a darker skinned Heathcliff. Can’t wait to watch this. I may need to reread Wuthering Heights at some point this summer as well. It’s been a while.

30 Day Book Challenge

Day 2: A book you can read again and again

As I discovered last year, the HP books are incredibly rereadable, something I knew as a teen when they were first out, but it was nice to feel that way as an adult. But I feel like most everyone on Tumblr feels that way; -)

I try to reread “The Master and Margarita” by Mikhail Bulgakov and “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Bronte every few years. Both of which are due for a reread sometime this year. “Wuthering Heights” I just love how dark it is. But with “The Master and Margarita” it seems to mean more to me on the rereads, I “see” more, and as I’m gotten older the themes and underlying statements about society just make more sense.

Oh Nelly Dean, you wild and crazy lady.

Classic Lines - SWOON!

iheartclassics:

Since we’re so in love with our new Classic Lines series we’re giving a set away.

Like//Reblog this post for a chance to win all four!

I really like the Wuthering Heights cover…obviously I’m bit biased though. If anyone is curious, Splinter is an imprint of Sterling Publishing.

98: Wuthering Heights is one of my favorite novels of all time. I feel like Emily Bronte doesn’t get enough credit for how brilliant she really was.

There have been some really fun editions of Wuthering Heights floating around on Tumblr lately. Is there some sort of anniversary that I’m unaware of? Or just a nice coincidence?
