We do, but it’s also us responding to the needs/wants of the reader. It’s weird though, how the absence of a person makes one want to devour their backlist, as if to cling to their last breaths before they completely slip away.

It is a strange thing how much people crave to know something about a famous person once they pass on. But at the same time it does seem like a good quality, an attempt to learn and remember before their memory fades from every day culture.
