Day 26 - Was any research involved (historical or otherwise) in your NaNo prep?
I need to research what hospitals do when a patient is in a coma. I want to get an idea of how much interaction with staff Abigail will have, and what type of procedures and effects her body will be undergoing.
I’m also looking into what a living will constitutes. I’m not sure if I really want to go there with this story, but I’d like to at least have some idea of what that could add to the story.
Everything else is just people and their interactions with one another. I feel like personal experience, Sociology degree, and my intermediate Psychology knowledge will all contribute to making these characters seem three dimensional.
