Ignoring the whole “favorite and best are two different concepts” conundrum, my ten votes were for: Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein; Feed by MT Anderson; The Giver by Lois Lowry; Graceling/Fire/Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore; His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman; I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith; Finnikin of the Rock (Lumatere Chronicles) by Melina Marchetta; A Ring of Endless Light by Madeline L’Engle; The Song of the Lioness by Tamora Pierce; and Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt.

What about you?

There are some really good ones on here… I’m having a hard time, wavering between best/favorites

Wow. Looking through this list I realize that I have a very large gap in my teen novel repertoire. I’ve only read about 15 of the titles on this list, and there were quite a few that I have never heard of, or only heard of because I’m on Tumblr.
