Day 19 - Which authors or books have inspired your own writing the most, and why?
That’s a tough one. I’d say that pretty much every book I read helps shape the way that I want my writing to be.
I’m constantly taking notes how authors choose to introduce conflict into their characters lives. How to provide a nice hook at the beginning, how to foreshadow, how to create doubt in the mind of the reader, are all things that I enjoy observing from different authors.
For this story is particular, I feel like I should re-read “As I Lay Dying”.
