It feels like I was run over by a truck last night. I think sitting in crazy uncomfortable seats all weekend at the aiports/planes and then the library chairs caught up to me. Nothing makes me feel older than having back/leg pain from chairs; -(

My accounting final was ridiculously brutal, and he changed the format of the test again. I will be anxiously awaiting my test scores to be posted, but at least I can now say I’m done with my first semester!!
Huzzah.
Back on campus studying for my accounting final. It’s my last night of the first semester. It went by fast, but at the same time, I’m definitely ready to have a break.
After tonight, I won’t have class again until mid-July. Very exciting stuff.

Just submitted my law final via TurnItIn.com. Have any of you guys used this before? I think it’s a pretty nifty aid for teachers to help cut down on plagiarism and just plain cheating. At the airport. Heading off this weekend to Ohio to watch my brother’s wife graduate from med school. Last time her family and ours got together it was the wedding, and it was awkward. Hopefully this weekend goes off with only happy tears.

Just raised my voice to a coworker who is about twice my age (we think…no one seems to know how old he is). He didn’t cry, but he started shaking and stuttering. I feel like I just shamed a puppy.
On that note, I think it’s the perfect time to leave for the day. Off to get my nails done, get in a zen state so I can knock this law paper out of the park.

Had an awesome penultimate class for Ethics, followed up by a delicious ramen dinner with a friend.
Rounding out my evening in the school computer lab working on my final paper for Ethics. I chose ebook price fixing and the DOJ suit, so I can do research on a lawsuit and area that interests me and will actually apply to my job.
The only downside is that I picked a computer with a slightly wonky...

Got some interesting news today. I’m going to be handling ebooks for one of my accounts as well. It doesn’t make sense for P & E to be sold and handled as separate accounts but I’m hesitant to get excited because I’m still doing all of my old job as they haven’t hired a replacement.

Big meeting #1 is done with. Had to do a lot of talking, but it went well.
Hopefully this will help our relationship with the client, and we’ll all be much happier. At least I’m good friends with the in-house person that I’ll be working closer with to make this client happy.

I don’t know what it’s like to work in an industry for 20+ years. I don’t know what it’s really like to do a job without email and systems to aid and/or complicate my job.
But I’d like to think that regardless of my age, I would learn to embrace the new especially when it’s clear that it’s becoming “the way” for my industry.
